Writter/Producer

Daniel F. Sullivan

Daniel Sullivan is a veteran of the financial world turned entertainment visionary, with a career stretching over two decades. For nearly 15 of those years, he thrived in the high-stakes chaos of America’s trading floors, cutting his teeth on iconic exchanges like the Philadelphia Stock Exchange (PHLX), Chicago Board Options Exchange (CBOE), Chicago Board of Trade (CBOT), and Chicago Stock Exchange (CHX). Those floors—pulsing with raw energy, grit, and unscripted drama—shaped him, and now he’s on a relentless mission to immortalize that lost era in the entertainment industry, an epoch of American capitalism that will never be duplicated.

Daniel’s not just reminiscing; he’s resurrecting the trading floor’s spirit for a new audience. He sees it as more than history—it’s a story of ambition, risk, and human connection, ripe for the screen. With the trading pits fading into memory, replaced by algorithms and silence, he’s determined to capture their wild essence before it’s gone forever, bringing the soul of that world to film and television. His 20+ years of insider experience fuel a perspective no one else can match, blending financial savvy with a storyteller’s eye.

Today, Daniel is deep in the entertainment trenches, steering multiple projects that channel this vision. He’s crafting a TV series that dives into the trading floor’s adrenaline-soaked heyday, a reality show that echoes its unfiltered stakes, and a documentary to preserve its legacy for good. On top of that, he’s hands-on with The Opening Bell, a film that promises to ring out the era’s untold tales. Through every script, scene, and frame, Daniel Sullivan is dragging the trading floors of America—loud, messy, and irreplaceable—back into the spotlight, ensuring their story lives on in an industry ready for something real.
